Laura Lush has an Honours B.A. in English and Creative Writing from York University and an M.A. in English and Creative Writing from The University of Calgary. Her books include Hometown, which was nominated for the 1992 Governor General’s Literary Award for Poetry, Fault Line, The First Day of Winter, selections of which tied for second place in the 2002 CBC Literary Contest, and a collection of short stories, Going to the Zoo. Palimpsest Press released Carapace in 2011.
