Jim Johnstone is a Toronto-based poet, editor, and critic. He is the author of seven books of poetry, most recently The King of Terrors (Coach House Books, 2023), and a collection of essays on micropress: Write, Print, Fold, and Staple (Gaspereau Press, 2023). Along with his wife, Erica Smith, he is the publisher at Anstruther Press, which is the subject of The Anstruther Reader: Ten Years of Poems, Broadsides, and Manifestos forthcoming with Palimpsest Press, Fall 2024.
