“My poems begin all over the place: a line that I can’t stop turning over, an image (real or imagined) that persists, overheard dialogue, a moment of connection with art, a question I can’t easily answer. With Most of All the Wanting, I was working on a book from the beginning, and I knew that I wanted to explore my relationship to a specific set of experiences: my divorce, dating in Toronto as a bisexual woman, finding my way to a relationship again.”
