Ariel Gordon is a Winnipeg writer. Her first book of poetry, Hump, won the 2011 Aqua Books Lansdowne Prize for Poetry. Her chapbook How to Make a Collage won Kalamalka Press’ inaugural John Lent Poetry-Prose Award. When not being bookish, Ariel likes tromping through the woods and taking macro photographs of mushrooms. Stowaways, released by Palimpsest Press in 2014, also won the Lansdowne Prize for Poetry in 2015.
